The NorthWest Side Irish is a non-for-profit organization founded in 2003. The N.W.S.I. will support two charitable events a year followed by our annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade in March.

In 2003-2004 we lent our hands out to Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Misericordia and the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Not only do we lend our hand out to these charities to raise money, we are dedicated to raising awareness for these organizations. It is our hope to carry these charitable organizations year to year in our parade and continue to raise awareness. The city of Chicago houses some of the most successful fundraising events in the country and we are proud to be associated with the future of that success.

Our founders are Daniel Murray and Elizabeth Murray-Belcaster. Our team is a dedicated, professional group of volunteers. We will continue to keep our" Friends & Family" theme attached to our parade and our charities close to our hearts.
